NON-SURGICAL SKIN LIFT TREATMENT
As we age our collagen begins to lose its shape, and as its shape begins to change, the foundations on which our skin is supported becomes uneven and lax. This is also the reason why our eyebrows may become hooded or criss-crossed with lines, which make us look tired, old, or angry.
Here at CE Skin Aesthetics, we have a range of non-invasive and nonsurgical treatments that may help you bring the youthful look back. One of the most skin lift treatments we are currently offering in our clinic is Ultherapy.
Ultherapy can be used to address everything from drooping eyelids, sagging cheeks, jowl formation, neck and chest wrinkles and fine lines around the eyes and mouth. Using precision ultrasound energy, Ultherapy goes deep into the dermal layer to trigger the body’s own regenerative response, creating an abundance of new collagen to lift and tighten your skin. Ultherapy is non-invasive, meaning zero downtime. The incredible, natural results take place over several weeks and continue improving over 12 months.
As the Australian Beauty Industry Awards (ABIA) finalist for BEST ECO SALON OF THE YEAR, we try to find ways to eliminate waste and become more sustainable. Ultherapy is a once-off treatment and results may last up to one year. Clients love this treatment as they don’t have to do several sessions scattered throughout the year.

ULTHERAPY: EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
How does it work?
Ultherapy uses microfocused multi-level ultrasound energy to penetrate the skin. A transducer wand sends heat to a level of 1.5mm, 3mm and 4.5mm to target not only the superficial layers of skin but to reach all the way down to the fascia. This deep layer of skin is what surgeons would target with facelift surgery.
Is it safe?
Ultherapy is the only device of its kind that has been approved for use by both the TGA, in Australia and the FDA, in the US. Over 2 million treatments have been performed safely worldwide. It is considered the gold standard for non-surgical face-lifting and skin tightening for the face, jawline, neck and décolletage.
Why is Ultherapy so good?
Ultherapy relies on ultrasound imaging, allowing practitioners to look at your skin tissue with precision and determine the areas that will most benefit from the therapy. Once your practitioner is satisfied they are targeting the correct depth of tissue a second round of ultrasound waves are delivered and micro wounding occurs.
Is it painful?
Levels of discomfort vary from patient to patient but are only temporary and represent a positive sign that the collagen-building process has been initiated. We recommend you take Panadol or Nurofen before your treatment to provide a more comfortable experience.
How is it different from lasers?
Lasers rely only on light energy, which cannot reach the deeper layers Ultherapy can, treating only the superficial skin layer. It is safe to use both technologies together as they are quite complementary.
Are there any side effects?
You may notice light redness or swelling immediately after treatment, and slight aching for a few days afterwards. You can resume your normal activities right away.
How long does Ultherapy take?
Length of the treatment will depend on the area being addressed. Typically, treatment to a specific area takes 30 minutes while a full face requires up to 2 hours.
When will I see results?
Ultherapy is a two-phase treatment. People may notice an improvement within 2 weeks as the fibrous tissue surrounding the muscles of the face begins to tighten, but true results take at least 3 months to see. As your collagen production continues to remodel improvements continue for up to 1 year. Results last up to 2 years.
How many Ultherapy treatments will I need?
Once the new collagen has been produced and the effects are visible, the results age with you. One treatment is usually enough but additional treatments can be done after 18 months – 2 years for maintenance.
